EPA has issued precautions to be taken while setting up of camp. Please have a look at the video below. The distance of 500 meters should be maintained from the electrical power overhead lines and also the camp goers should maintain at all times their distance from the power lines. Using of Cement and construction materials to make permanent fixtures at the site is totally prohibited and can lead to penalties and fines. Also Kuwait Municipality can take action in tearing these illegal constructions at any given moment. It is important for the camp goers to properly dispose of their trash/garbage at their given/designated sites where provisions have been made. CLICK HERE to see an instagram video of what not to do. Ministry of Interior have issued a video to make one's camping experience a happy one by taking some simple cautions during their stay at the camps. Drive carefully to the camp sites by keeping in mind of pedestrians around the camp sites. Avoid areas near power utilities, Military installations, Oil Wells and drive at safe speeds, wear seat belts and avoid mobile phones while driving. Also keep an eye out while using the Charcoal based cooking units, with proper ventilation or at least extinguishing it when not using or in absentia. Watch out for power cables at camp sites and try not to overload the power outlets or extension cords. Do not set fire to any of the trash/garbage at the camp site nor at the designated trash bins. People are advised to not drive the all terrain vehicles (ATVs, Dirt bikes, buggies) on the highways. The Ministry of Interior officials and police officers are there for assisting and keeping the law and order so that the camping experience can be memorable and safe. This week onward, skydiving has been introduced to the people of Kuwait. Now one can attempt to enjoy the feeling of jumping out of a plane and feel free fall until the parachutes open up. The whole setup for the skydive has been prepared in the South of Kuwait, away from the hustle and bustle of the Kuwaiti Skyline. The official drop-zone is away from industrial areas and utilities making it an ideal place for carrying out skydiving. Another amazing feature during the skydive is the backdrop, in which one can see Khiran Seaside City (Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Seaside City) with its inland waterways. It sets apart when one captures it during the skydive.

The runway, the skydive landing area, the preparation area and the plane hanger, all have been newly setup with the sole purpose of skydiving. Cessna 208 Caravan aircraft is the flight used for the skydive, which will let skydiver jump from the height of 13,000 feet in the air. All the tandem rigs and equipment for the one time skydive experience is ready and waiting for the skydive enthusiasts. The tandem jumps can be carried out with male or female instructors.

GULFRUN KARTING ENDURANCE RACE

The GulfRun Karting Endurance Race was launched in 2011 to create an exciting competition in Kuwait. GULFRUN CARSHOW 8
Date: 1 to 3 February 2018 (Thursday to Saturday) Venue: Murouj, Sahara Kuwait
First launched in 2008 when the GulfRun 4 took place. The goal was to bring the GulfRun drivers, car enthusiasts and the general public interested in automobiles.
The GulfRun is an annual motorsport event that started in 2005 as a weekend getaway for a group of friends passionate about automobile racing. The event consist of multiple category - Circuit (Inner/Outer/GP) competition, Autocross competition and Quatermile Drag competition.
Road Rush is an event prepared by the women of Kuwait who love driving and cars. The women get together with their machines and have a blast and let loose for 2 days at Bahrain International Circuit (Generally during the first two weeks of February). Around a month earlier, the Road Rush Carnival takes place in Kuwait. There are several activities, local stores, restaurants and a many fun things to do while getting to meet with the Road Rush participants. Watch below to see the previous years videos.

IGN Convention (IGN Con) is a video games, movies, comics and pop culture convention held in various cities in the Middle East. The event generally includes celebrities, video game tournaments, table top games, card games, movie previews, comic book stalls and a cosplay competition. A number of Middle Eastern artists and game developers also showcase their work at IGN Convention. This convention is owned and operated by IGN Middle East, the Middle Eastern edition of popular video games website IGN.

The aim of the Artist Alley is to help promote independent artists, game developers, film makers, fan clubs and authors. Artist Alley table space at the IGN Convention can be booked for KD80 per table.
This cost covers:
• Rental of the space for both days of the event
• One table and two chairs
• Option to place roll ups or branding in the space behind the allocated table.
• 2 x Artist Alley Passes for the event

Attention all artists! Join our competition at IGN Convention and win some amazing prizes. All you have to do is submit your original artwork based on either anime, manga, comic, video games or fantasy. (CLICK HERE if you wish to access the IGN webpage)
Competition rules:
1. Category of your art should be either anime, manga, comic, video games or fantasy.
2. No copying or tracing drawings from posters, anime/manga screenshots or from other artists. The artwork must your creation.
3. Sketches are not allowed.
4. Please be respectful of the culture and religion of Kuwait. Any artwork deemed inappropriate will be immediately disqualified.
5. The minimum size of the drawing should be A4.
6. Drawings should be framed in black.
7. Only one artwork will be submitted per artist.
8. Your artwork shouldn’t be used in any contest before.
9. Last day to submit your art on 15/11/2017.
The Winners will be announced on the last day of the convention.
